Daisy Cottage Reviews

We had a wonderful time staying at Daisy Cottage. Loved the view of the fields and meeting the alpacas. The cottage is very clean, warm and cosy. We really appreciated the added touches like providing extra towels for the hot tub and the pastries and preserves for breakfast. We enjoyed the hot tub every afternoonevening and local Indian and Fish and Chips takeaways from Kineton. The village shop in Tysoe is excellent we purchased locally grown veg. Would definitely return to this property and recommend it to others. It would be helpful to mention on the listing that a hair dryer and a coffee machine are supplied.
Amazing place! Booked another week in August whilst we were there as its so lovely!! Also been recommending it to plenty of people, perfect location for a lot of things to do and such a lovely place to stay!! X
Lovely spacious, well equipped and well lit property. The bathrooms for us were the highlight as in the past we have always had problems with the showers, but this time the showers were great. The welcome pack was very kind and generous. The area is quiet. There was no problem with parking or getting there no narrow lanes. There are a few National Trust places near by as well as towns to see.
Wonderful place

We have just returned from a brilliant family holiday at Daisy Cottage. The cottage was modern, comfortable, very well equipped and in beautiful surroundings. It was so relaxing in the hot tub after spending sunny days exploring the beautiful local area and the Cotswolds. Our hosts Liz & Adrian were just lovely, thank you for the welcome gifts and meeting the alpacas too! We will certainly return.
Richard
A lovely property, cannot be faulted and we enjoyed meeting the owner together with her alpacas.

Catanger Llama Trekking - NN12 8LJ
about 18 Miles
This is a really unique attraction and certainly worth a visit in our opinion.  Established in 1995 and situated in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside this attraction will appeal to those looking for something a little different.  You can't ride the animals but you can trek alongside them and enjoy the fantastic scenery.  From farm tracks to country lanes the gentle animals will carry your rucksack for you along the way.  There are personally guided treks available all year round and you will have your own Llama for the trek.
Avon Leisure Cruises - BS8 4EB
about 19 Miles
Avon Leisure Cruises offer a relaxing way to spend an afternoon exploring the beautiful river and the sites all around it. The trips have commentary to point out places of historical importance and interest and are educational as well as fun. During school holidays the area is very popular with tourists and with families and daily activities can be enjoyed.
Old Dairy Farm Centre - PO30 2NB
about 21 Miles
Suited to families with children of all ages this is a fantastic attraction in Northamptonshire.  There are many special events held throughout the year so don't forget to check what's happening while you are staying in the region.  Some highlights include the lambing weekends and the monthly local food fayres.
Old Dairy Farm Country Shopping and Craft Centre - LE14 3PF
about 21 Miles
From shopping to home cooked refreshments this is a wonderful day out in the pretty village of Upper Stowe.  You can enjoy amazing views over the Northamptonshire countryside and wander around the complex of stone built farm buildings.  Each building houses something different such as the Occasions Florist, Itsy Bitsy Gifts, Hayrack Gallery and Sheer Delights Lingerie.  When it's time for a rest the Barn Restaurant and Tea Room is the place to go.  There is a small selection of animals at the centre too which younger children will love.  They currently have two Kune Kune pigs, sheep, hens and ducks.  If you are looking for upmarket holiday accommodation in the Northamptonshire area then the luxury lodges at Wicksteed Park are sure to impress.
Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens - OX18 4JP
about 23 Miles
This has to be one of the most popular days out in Oxfordshire and is sure to appeal to nature lovers, animal lovers and keen gardeners.  Families and couples will enjoy wandering around this amazing park with a wide variety of mammals and birds to see as well as reptiles. Some of the most popular animals are the Burrowing Owl, Dexter Cow, African Pancake Tortoise and the Bar Headed Goose.  Check out their website for the latest admission costs and special offers.
Spetchley Park and Gardens - WR5 1RS
about 26 Miles
Spetchley Park and Gardens in Worcestershire are the perfect place for a day trip all year round. During the summer months the gardens are really at their best with beautiful displays of flora and fauna. Many families choose to bring a picnic and there are several picnic tables in the grounds. The deer park is also a big hit with children as well as grown ups. The onsite tea room serves tasty sandwiches and cakes and uses local produce where possible.
