There is a tasteful kitchen with plenty of amenities to cook up a storm, guests can enjoy a meal together at the dining table before settling down into the sitting area for a movie night.
The property benefits from a sun room with bi-fold doors opening up onto the garden, ideal for allowing in the fresh air in the warmer months. Outside take an indulgent dip in the hot tub, under starry skies, or dine alfresco, and here there is the added bonus of a fantastic external games room.
The games room holds a selection of entertainment, including a pool table, Smart TV, and arcade games. When sleep calls, climb the zebra print stairs and choose one of two king-size bedrooms, both with TVs and one with a stylish en-suite shower room.
The family bathroom is a beautiful space to enjoy a soak in the tub, or to make use of the walk-in shower, which can also function as a steam room. The property is within reach of the cafes, bars, and eateries of Bowness-on-Windermere, and sits on edge of Lake Windermere, with Biskey Howe viewpoint nearby.
The lake itself offers stunning walks, as well as an abundance of watersports activities, lake cruises, and wild swimming spots. Further afield, discover Ambleside, a beautiful village with access to a Roman fort and Stock Ghyll Force waterfall.
This is an amazing Cumbria attraction well known locally as well as nationally for how close you can get to the animals. Described as the most interactive animal park in Europe it's well worth a visit if you are staying in the area. Open from April to end October some of the highlights are the tigers, penguins, bears, hippos and rhinos. At 2pm during certain seasons it's feeding time so don't forget to plan your day around this so you can watch the animals enjoying their feed. Look out for seasonal events such as Halloween Zoo Boo (free entry for kids in fancy dress) and The Magic of Christmas.
