		This stylish cottage is in the remote village of Caldbeck, at the northern tip of the Lake District National Park. Sleeping six guests, the cottage suits both families and friends holidaying together, with two reception rooms and a sociable outdoor space.
Caldbeck is a fantastic base for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts. There are some lovely routes to explore in and around the village, including to The Howk, where you’ll find pretty waterfalls and the ruins of an old bobbin mill.
You’ll also be perfectly placed for long-distance Cumbria Way passes close to the village. The vibrant Lakeland towns of Cockermouth and Keswick are within 17 miles, both offering a good range of independent shops, pubs, and restaurants.
The beautiful Bassenthwaite Lake is 9 miles away. There are some fantastic family attractions nearby, including Go Ape in Whinlatter Forest (19 miles) and the Lake District Wildlife Park (9.5 miles).
