We stayed as a family of 5. The lodge was lovely with gorgeous decor and excellent facilities. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kids loved the reclining settees and the hot tub. We went to the pub on site had a lovely breakfast and evening meal. We are hoping to return later in the year.

The lodge was absolutely beautiful with everything we could need for our family Christmas holiday. The beds were really comfortable and the whole place was spotless. Gorgeous furniture and decor making it a very relaxing break which is just what we needed. The hot tub was amazing and very private. Just a short walk up the hill to a lovely pub with an open fire where they served delicious food and drinks. We had been left a bottle of champagne and a massive tower of treats by the owners which was such a lovely and generous gesture. Will definitely be back and will recommend to our friends and family.

We had an amazing stay at Limefitt Lodge. The owners have decorated and maintained this property to the highest standard. On arrival the gift of a bottle of bubbly was a nice touch. The hot tub was the best we have ever had in a lodge! The reclining sofas were perfect after a day out walking. We would like to thank you for allowing us to stay and would definitely recommend this Lodge.

Lovely Lodge, everything you need for your stay, clean and comfortable, lovely bottle of fizz and fudge on arrival, well positioned the park itself was quite and nestled in the hills, little dog walking field and walks that start and end in the park. Would recommend and would stay again.

Lovely lodge, as described. Really spacious and everything you needed was in the lodge endless utensils, cutlery and tableware which was great and meant you could use the built in dishwasher often. It had outdoor seating and games inside the lodge which came in handy! The hot tub was also great. The beds were really comfortable, the only bad points would be that the shower in the main bedroom en suite seemed to stay cold and not get warm, there was also a smell of gas within the living area but other than these minor points everything was great! It was situated in a perfect spot within distance to all tourist attractions, the site had a small shop which was useful and ideal when you had forgotten something. The dog field was great you can take your dog and let them off the lead comfortably. There is also a lovely little park on the site and a field where you can go and let your children play with football goals. There is also a laundrette on site where you can wash and dry your clothing. The haybarn inn pub is situated on site also which has a Poole table, dartboard and other facilities inside however the only issue with this is that it closes a few days a week so plan when you want to go. I would definitely recommend

Absolutely lovely property. Could not find any faults at all. So clean. Everything you need in the property. Decorated to highest standard. Beds so comfortable and loved the sofas and carpet. Hot tub was so relaxing. Beautiful view. Actually the only fault I could find was the shower in the en suite did not get very hot but nothing major. Had a lovely stay with my husband and family for our daughter's 21st. Would definitely return. Thank you so much.

I messaged you on my return . And had no reply from you. The lodge was great. Problem with window not closing, which was not a problem. Lack of hot water situation was a problem. Bath and shower water only Luke warm. This was reported numerous time. And you promised to send someone out. Which I understand was done after we left.

Family had a great time, hot tub great, just bit of light maintenance on the outdoor furniture which was looking tired. Overall brilliant. Thank You.

This lodge has everything you could ask for and more! From the moment we walked in we knew this was the perfect place to unwind and relax and we certainly did that. The lodge felt very spacious, loved the open plan living space, the kitchen were modern and had everything we needed, especially loved the nespresso machine which added that extra special touch. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and the beds are super comfy which was great as my husband has arthritis. There was only 3 of us staying but should have been 5 but it felt like there would have still been plenty of space not to feel on top of each other. It was nice to have the option of an ensuite for the master bedroom and the shower was super powerful which was a real treat. Outside on the decking was lovely with flowers in pots, giving it a homely feel. We only used the hot tub twice as the weather was torrential one day, but it was amazing and so relaxing. Our two dogs were so well catered for, the facilities on site were perfect, the dog field was great to let them off the lead and we enjoyed taking them with us for a meal in the local pub. The dogs loved the box in the lodge with the tennis balls in. We will definitely be boking again but next time for 7 nights as 4 wasn't long enough!

Great lodge only 1. 30pm wednesday electric went off till 2.30 am 13 hours one broken torch one torch not charged ,might want to think about this .Other than that couldn't fault lodge or site had a great time thank you

We have just returned from what can only be described as the great outdoors holiday. Limefitt Park is situated in a place where views are incredible. The lodge had everything even more kitted out than my house. If you like walks then this place is for you as there is a walk directly out the back of the site pub to troutbeck Tongue. Overall this was a 5 star stay for us & we would most definitely return.

Our 5th time to Limefitt park but 1st to Limefitt lodge. A fabulous lodge with great facilities, very well presented and clean Even thought of what the dogs may need on their holidays.. Dog bowls for inside and out.. Our 13 year spaniel now has an outdoor bowl at home because he loved the one at the lodge. Hope to be a return visitor

Thank you for a very enjoyable stay, the lodge was homely and comfortable and we had a good nights sleep in the beds. I found the lodge to be clean and well equipped with added extras we havent had on previous breaks away. The lodge setting is beautiful, a great park for exploring and spending time outside and is the location is good as the few places we visited we all within a 1020 minute drive. The pub serves nice food and is reasonably price plus has nice outside areas to dine outside and enjoy the views.

The lodge was absolutely fantastic, in all honesty the photos dont do it justice. It was so much bigger and more spacious then we expected. The decking being fully gated made a world of difference to us having the dog. The hot tub was divine. Everything was beautiful and so clean! We would stay again in a heartbeat

We had a great stay in July 2022. With 5 adults and 1 dog, there was more than enough space for everyone to relax. The hot tub was an added bonus. Nice quiet lodge and handy for the onsite pub.

A fantastic lodge that is very well equipped, there wasn't anything that we found wanting for. Very quite park in a great location for walking.. The hot tub is a wonderful addition, especially after going in the River Pool!

We had a lovely stay in this stunning lodge. It was in a beautiful spot only 10 minutes drive to either windermere or Ambleside. It was spotlessly clean with every utensil needed. The beds were very comfortable as we're the sofas. Even though there were 6 of us as well as our little dog it never seamed overcrowded, & the hot tub was the icing on tht cake. We'll definitely recomend it to anyone and everyone !

Rydal Mount & Gardens are wonderfully situated between Lake Windermere and Rydal Water offering breathtaking scenery. The home of William Wordsworth from 1813 - 1850 the grand home is now lived in by the poets descendents but parts of the house and grounds are open to the public. Why not take a guided tour and see the rooms where many of the famous poems were written. The gardens are beautiful at all times of the year but in the summer offer a spectacular display of colour. There is also a gallery and a tearoom. Discounts are available for group bookings.

This is an award winning Lake District attraction and they have been operating cruisers on Lake Ullswater for over 150 years. There is no better way to explore the lakes than on water and you could even combine a cruise with a spectacular walk. For great days out in this region then this attraction is highly recommended and will appeal to couples as well as families. Corporate groups are also well catered for.

Lakeland Wildlife Oasis - LA6 1JH

about 16 Miles

Located in the Milnthorpe area of Cumbria we love this local attraction. With an eclectic mix of fascinating wildlife and hands on displays this centre is educational as well as fun. You can wander around at leisure admiring the exhibits which range from chameleons to computers. Some of the most threatened species are kept at the park as part if international breeding programmes. Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs which are great value for money. There are discounts for pre-booked parties of 12 or more.

South Lakes Safari Zoo - LA12 0LU

about 20 Miles

This is an amazing Cumbria attraction well known locally as well as nationally for how close you can get to the animals. Described as the most interactive animal park in Europe it's well worth a visit if you are staying in the area. Open from April to end October some of the highlights are the tigers, penguins, bears, hippos and rhinos. At 2pm during certain seasons it's feeding time so don't forget to plan your day around this so you can watch the animals enjoying their feed. Look out for seasonal events such as Halloween Zoo Boo (free entry for kids in fancy dress) and The Magic of Christmas.

Lake District Wildlife Park - CA12 4RD

about 22 Miles

We love this day out in Cumbria where you're encouraged to "take a fresh look". Some of the amazing animals you will get to see include the only Canadian Lynx in the UK and you will have the opportunity to help their Lynx Conservation Project. The Asian Fishing Cat is also well worth a look - these cats are known for diving under the water and catching fish! Other activities include fantastic flying displays and play areas for the little ones...
