We had an amazing stay at The Auld Byre! The space was perfect for our group, both inside and outside. Loved the little details like the sauna, hot tuband the well-stocked kitchen - made everything so easy. The kids enjoyed the huge range of board gamesand we all loved watching the birds, especially the woodpecker, at the feeding station. The owners are super friendly and really attentive, which made us feel so welcomed. We're definitely coming back - can't wait!

The rooms are massive, spotlessand feel really cosy with lovely decor. The equipment is excellentand the views, especially on a clear day, are breathtaking. This place honestly exceeded all our hopes. The photos don't quite capture how stunning it really is. We stayed here for my folks' 50th anniversary and had such a lovely time. Go Ape! has really taken off and become one of the most popular attractions in the UK. The Northumberland course is set in the stunning grounds of Matfin Hall. Described as a high wire forest adventure this really is one for the more daring as the course takes place right up in the tree tops. Giant tree top obstacle courses include ladders, bridges, tunnels and some of the country's best zip lines. You will be provided with all safety equipment and training on site.

Kielder Water Bird of Prey Centre - NE48 1BT

Housing the most fascinating collection of Birds of Prey in the North East this centre is definitely worth a visit if you are staying in the Kielder Water area. Located in Falstone it's easy to get to and makes a great day out for both families and couples. As well as seeing the amazing birds you can learn all about the captive breeding programme and the excellent work being done there. Some of the highlights of the day might include watching a Falcon stoop down from the skies at over 100mph and admiring the grace of the Eagles, Kites and Hawks.

The rhododendron labyrinth is a unique and fun addition to the grounds and there is also an adventure playground where children can let of steam.
