This lodge is set within a small countryside development in Carlton-in-Cleveland, North Yorkshire, with panoramic views stretching across the Cleveland Hills. Ideal for two couples or a family, it provides a base for walking, birdwatching, and exploring the North York Moors National Park.

The historic market town of Stokesley is 4 miles away, known for its wide cobbled high street lined with Georgian and Regency buildings, and its weekly Friday market. Mount Grace Priory, House and Gardens – a medieval Carthusian monastery – is 9 miles away, while the remains of Whorlton Castle, a 12th-century fortress with expansive views over the moors, stand 3.5 miles from the property.

Cod Beck Reservoir, 5.5 miles away, is popular with birdwatchers for its circular walk and rich birdlife. Several beaches line the coast, with Saltburn Beach, Redcar Beach, and Marske-by-the-Sea Beach all within 17.5 miles.

A step leads up to the front door of this single-storey lodge, which opens directly into a bright and airy open-plan living space. Double glass doors fill the room with natural light, connecting the sitting area, dining area, and well-equipped kitchen in one generous layout.

An LPG wood burner provides a warm focal point in the sitting area, where a Smart TV and comfortable seating are arranged around the fire, and additional sleeping for two guests is also available here. The dining table provides a central gathering spot for group mealtimes, and the kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to prepare and enjoy meals together.

Both bedrooms lead directly off from the main living area. The first king-size bedroom features a Smart TV and a private en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower and WC.

The second king-size bedroom has a TV and its own en-suite bathroom, which includes a bath, a separate walk-in shower, and a WC. Both rooms provide ample storage and are finished to a high standard throughout.
