We stayed here with a big group - 8 adults and 4 little ones under 5and everyone had plenty of space to relax. The bedrooms were really comfortable, with large beds and nice wet rooms; two even had copper baths which was a lovely touch. The kitchen was well stocked, making cooking easy. The dining area in the annexe was perfect, though the one outside needed a fan heater during the cold snap. The hot tub was a highlight, especially with the snow around! Would definitely come back.

We stayed at Mill Farmhouse with a big group of 11 for three nights during some pretty wild storms and floods. Honestly, even with the weather, we had a cracking time. The house is top-notch, with six cosy bedrooms, each with its own bathroom-really well done. The kitchen was spotless and modern, perfect for all of us to gather around the big table. The views are absolutely stunning, which made up for missing a few bits of equipment since we cooked in most nights. Definitely planning to come back!

We had a great time at The Farm House with six of us staying comfortably. The en-suite rooms were all similar and beautifully decorated, which everyone appreciated. The house was spotless when we arrived and there were plenty of logs for the fire-perfect for cosy evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed, though we initially missed oven gloves, but that was sorted quickly at the office. The open-plan living space felt really spaciousand the location was stunning with some lovely walks nearby. Definitely recommend!

When you step inside, the wow factor hits you right awayand all the bedrooms are really charming. The kitchen has a big island, but only two stools, which felt a bit tight since the place sleeps 12. We found it pretty chilly, especially in the orangery and dining area, which are quite large and open. More heating would definitely make it cozier, even with the log burner going all the time. Still, the place has a lovely vibe and is perfect for a big group getaway!

This is a recommended day out for families with young children visiting the Bedale area of Yorkshire. Visit the farm and receive a warm welcome as well as a guided tour. You will have the chance to bottle feed the lambs, bath a pig and handle some of the smaller animals. Kids will love the big sandpit and the outdoor play area. There is also a cafe and indoor play area for when the weather is not on your side.

Situated in the Ripon area of North Yorkshire this popular theme park makes a fantastic day out for the whole family. The more daring will love the big and thrilling rides such as Raptor Attack, The Ultimate and Trauma Tower. For the little ones there are some excellent attractions such as Flying Camels, Dodgems and a Magic Wheel. Toddlers will like the Dragon Boats and the Lightwater Express amongst other things. There are over 40 rides and attractions in total and we think this is excellent value for money too. If you book your tickets in advance online you can save even more money and beat the queues.

This is an outstanding world heritage site located close to Ripon in the North Yorkshire area. Nature lovers will be in their element with an abundance of wide open spaces to explore and there are special guided tours for families. Some of the highlights may include seeing wild deer and bats during your visit. The grounds are fantastic to wander round but there is also an Elizabethan Mansion, Victorian Church, Georgian Water Garden and the finest example of Cistercian Abbey ruins in the country - Well worth a visit!
