The beaches of St Cyrus and Montrose are within 14 miles if you enjoy long walks with the dog or water sports such as paddleboarding, or just want to explore the rock pools with the kids.

The Angus and bordering Aberdeenshire coastline have much to explore including Dunottar Castle (29 miles), majestic in its position and much used in many film locations. The area is great for cyclists and walkers looking to explore the area.

With Arbroath close by, you can enjoy a visit to explore this lovely town with its historic abbey – if you like seafood, try the famous Arbroath smokie. Escape from the stresses of everyday life in this welcoming property which offers plenty of space and flexible sleeping arrangements.
