The cottage was amazing, well equipped, spotless & contained everything needed in the home. We spent four wonderful days in this idyllic setting. It was so lovely returning from our day trips to the peace and quiet to enjoy evening meals indoors or weather permitting outside at the barbeque keeping cosy by the firepit. We were made to feel welcome by the owners, a lovely young couple who left a welcome basket which also included doggy treats & poo bags. A kind and thoughtful gesture.

We have just had a truly lovely family holiday at this cottage. Its in a great location for exploring the coast nearby and we also had fun going on a day trip all the way to Loch Ness . The drive back via Braemar had the most spectacular scenery we have ever driven through. Another highlight was visiting the nearby Arbikie distillery - lovely staff and lovely cafe too. Lunan bay was also great for a beach day. Many thanks to Hugh and Caroline for their warm welcome and generosity.

We had a lovely week in this cottage. The cottage was well equipped with all modern designer furnishings, just our ideal style and the decor was to a high standard, especially the amazing well equipped kitchen with beautiful Minerva worktops and hidden storage, now we want one. The property was very dog friendly and the secure garden was a great bo nus as we didnt have to worry about the dog trying to escape as we relaxed around the house and in the hot tub. We would love to stay again sometime.

Set in a peaceful location, the cottage is lovely with a sea view in the distance. There are many places to visit within easy reach (Glamis, Arbroath, Carnoustie, and Montrose to mention a few). Caroline was friendly and welcoming and on hand if needed. There are 3 supermarkets close to Arbroath, but the farm shop down the road is well worth a visi t (The strawberries were delicious!). The log fire was welcome on chilly nights with plenty of wood provided. Overall a relaxing week.
