The Jubilee Lodge Reviews

Emily Parker
We had a fantastic week at Brownhills! From the moment we arrived, the welcome pack was a lovely touch, with essentials like bread, milk, biscuitsand even a bottle of Prosecco - much appreciated! The lodge was spotless, cosyand had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Being close to St Andrews was super convenient. We really enjoyed relaxing outside, watching the horses in the paddocks and listening to the 'hearsting' in the field - so peaceful. Definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic time at the lodges! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, especially watching the horses in the paddocks. The location was perfect for a peaceful break, yet just a short drive to St Andrews, Craigand Anstruther. The facilities were really well thought outand we loved the welcome pack, plus the little treats for the dogs. Definitely a spot we'd return to!

Brechin Castle Centre - DD9 6RL
about 27 Miles

So much more than a garden centre this place is ideal for a fun family day out in Angus. The garden centre stocks a huge range of plants, outdoor furniture and gardening equipment and also has a café serving tasty home made meals, cakes and snacks. The site has a large outdoor play area for children an ornamental pond and country park to explore. Halloween and Bonfire night's events are coming up soon. The annual Fireworks Display is really spectacular.

Smoo Cave - IV27 4QB
about 28 Miles
Smoo Cave is a popular attraction which can be enjoyed all year round but visitors should wrap up warm during the winter months.  This spectacular limestone sea-cave in Sutherland is the largest in Britain and is simply spectacular. The cave was formed by a burn that runs down into the rear chamber, as well as erosion caused by the sea. Guests can take the path from the car park which runs right through the cave. Boat trips are available in the summer months and are an excellent way to fully appreciate the cave from all angles.
Active Kid Adventure Park - DG7 3ET
about 28 Miles
Active Kid Adventure Park is the place to go if you have energetic children and are looking for a fun day out. The site boasts many attractions including a Zip Line, Target Football, Go Karts, Play Areas, Pony Rides and Crazy Golf. There are also some friendly farm animals to meet including a docile Donkey.
