For nature lovers, a walk along the coastline towards Mares Braids Waterfall (5 miles) reveals barnacle geese, natterjack toads and swirling flocks of starlings as you pass through the RSPB Mersehead Nature Reserve (4 miles).

A little further afield, Bainloch Deer Park (6.5 miles) provides even more wildlife spotting opportunities, including the chance to see roe deer. Renovated to a high standard, this two-storey home features a fresh, contemporary design throughout.

On the ground floor, a large living room welcomes you in. This is a wonderfully spacious area for relaxing together.

Sofas and bean bags are arranged around a Scandi-style wood burner and a TV and DVD player, creating a cosy setting for evenings in. From here, move into the fully fitted kitchen, equipped with everything you need, and continue into the generous dining room, ideally positioned beside patio doors.

Also on this floor is the first of three bedrooms – a bright twin – along with a modern wet room featuring a fully tiled walk-in shower. Upstairs, two additional lounge areas offer even more space to unwind.
