About Longview

A stylish, spacious cottage, this enticing holiday haven is set deep in the beautiful South Downs. Situated in the village of East Dean, 4.5 miles from Eastbourne, it has four bedrooms and sleeps eight guests.

Lace up your walking boots and stride straight out into glorious, verdant scenery. The famous white chalk cliffs of Seven Sisters are just 1.5 miles away, while dramatic Beachy Head, with its clifftop walk, is a distance of 3.5 miles.

Spend time on the beach at Cuckmere Haven, 4 miles away, or plan an afternoon at the National Trust’s picture-postcard Alfriston Clergy House, 7 miles away. Venture into Eastbourne to shop, dine out and potter in the shops, or head to Brighton’s pier and Regency Pavilion (18 miles).

Brighton is also known for its eateries, pubs, live music, art galleries and an independent shopping area called the Lanes. Make your way into this outstanding, three-storey house via the cloakroom, where there is ample space to leave your walking boots, beach sandals, bags and coats as you pass.

Head through to the chic kitchen/diner, with its stylish dark cabinets, light work surfaces and central island and breakfast bar. This room, which has a roof light, also features a wood burner to stoke up on chilly days.

Congregate in here for your celebratory meals, then linger at the table with a film on the Smart TV. Opposite the kitchen/diner is the lovely lounge, which is another exceptional social space.

Gather in here to watch another Smart TV, with a second wood burner throwing out a cosy glow. The first of your wonderful bedrooms is also on the ground floor.

This is a super-king, with an en-suite bathroom, featuring an opulent spa bath with TV and a large walk-in shower. Completing the ground floor is a separate WC.
