About Woodside

Woodside is an agreeable single-storey house within the High Weald National Landscape, in Battle, East Sussex. Ideal for families, this pet-friendly abode boasts a garden, a nearby river, and proximity to the South Downs National Park.

Park up on the private driveway after making your way along a quiet country lane, where off-road parking for several cars makes arriving and settling in easy. Head up a few steps and step into the hallway, a practical space to drop bags and settle in before exploring the rest of the property.

Move through to the sitting room, where carpeted flooring and a corner sofa create a comfortable place to unwind. Settle into the armchair or stretch out on the sofa and switch on the large mounted TV after a day exploring, making this an easy space to relax together.

Continue into the kitchen/diner, where wooden flooring and a bright, contemporary finish bring a fresh feel to the space. Store your ingredients in the fridge/freezer before firing up the range cooker and gas hob to prepare a hearty meal, while the breakfast bar offers a spot for morning coffee or a quick bite.

When everything is ready, gather around the dining table and enjoy mealtimes together, whether it’s a laid-back breakfast or a sociable evening meal. When the day draws to a close, retire to one of three bedrooms.

The super-king-size room offers a peaceful place to unwind, with a window overlooking the garden, while the double bedroom provides a comfortable retreat. The twin room is spacious and well-suited to families or friends sharing, and patio doors allow easy access out to the garden.

In the morning, freshen up in the bathroom, where you can choose between a soak in the bath or a refreshing shower over. Step outside into the large garden, where there is plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors.
