About Log Cabin

This one-bedroom log cabin is set within a coastal development at St Mary's Bay in Dymchurch, Kent, with direct access to the beach and open views across the English Channel. Suited to couples looking for a quiet seaside break, the cabin combines a contemporary open-plan layout with a genuine sense of privacy despite the sociable feel of the wider development.

The Kent coastline stretches in both directions from the development, with wide skies above and long, open views along the shore, creating a strong sense of space. Greatstone Beach lies 4 miles along the coast, offering a further sweep of sand and shingle to explore.

The development is built around a shared reception hub with a licensed shop and bar, and a team who can arrange water sports, boating, golf, and other excursions. The cabin opens through its own private entrance into a spacious, open-plan living space.

The king-size bed, sitting area, and kitchenette are all arranged within a single, well-proportioned room, creating a layout that feels both open and carefully considered. The interior has been thoughtfully designed, with quality furnishings, interesting books, and games giving the space a warm, lived-in character.

A wood burner sits at the heart of the room, drawing the eye and anchoring the layout around it. The sitting area is comfortable and inviting, positioned to take in the garden views beyond the terrace.

The kitchenette, set to one side, is fully equipped for self-catering, with everything needed to prepare and serve meals. From the main living area, the shower room is accessed through its own door, featuring a walk-in shower.

The open-plan design keeps the whole cabin feeling generous, bright, and easy to live in. A private terrace with garden views gives the cabin its own outdoor space, with a BBQ for dining alfresco.
