Join the coastal path from the doorstep to uncover the local habitats and stone ruins of historic wheelhouses.

The beautifully furnished double bedroom perfectly blends style and comfort, boasting a sumptuous rich colour palette and homely touches that ensure a peaceful night’s rest before tomorrow’s adventure.

There’s also a lovingly furnished bunk bedroom on offer that’s perfect for children. Outside, fire up the BBQ and enjoy dining alfresco on the patio terrace as children roam the extensive shared lawned gardens before bedtime.

Once a busy port steeped in rich heritage and history, the enchanting village of Portreath (3.5 miles) is a thrill-seeker’s paradise. Surf the locally known Vortex surf break at the golden sandy stretch of Portreath Beach 3.5 miles away; children will love playing on the quintessentially seaside arcade games or fetching an ice cream from the beach shop.

Keen outdoor explorers can cycle from the rugged north coast right through to Devoran (8.5 miles) on the south coast on the Coast-to-Coast Trail across some scenic cycle paths occupying the old tram roads used to transport ore from the mines.

Buzzards Cottage Reviews

Victoria
Lovely accommodation, had everything we needed. Great location to easily get around Cornwall. Nice welcome gifts. Host was very friendly and helpful. We did struggle to walk our dog directly from the property as the road was so busy and pathways were non existent for a few metres. Ended up taking her out in the car and walking her elsewhere. Illogan Park was great!
Philip
Great little cottage for a family of four (or less). Very clean and well appointed with nice little touches everywhere. A good central location to explore all of Cornwall but don't expect a rural idyll as it is next to a busy road - although it's secluded and very private, and with a surprising amount of wildlife.
Paul
The cottage very comfortable and is quite private situated with a very large open space garden which was ideal for recreation also close enough redruth for shopping Ideal for a quiet holiday but easy access to the A30 for exploring Cornwall
Carol

Alan
