Emma Clarke
The place was lovely, plenty of wildlife and a nice-sized hot tub. Spacious overall, though some parts seemed a bit tired overall, but we really enjoyed it!
Emma
Really enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect for exploring nearby beaches and walks with our dogs. The food was top-notchand it was super relaxing overall. Would come back!
James
The lodge looked quite worn out and wasn’t very clean upon arrival. The kitchen was decent, but we missed some basic stuff like a spatula and serving bowls. The TV kept cutting out, which was annoying. On the bright side, the staff at the Grange were really friendly and helpful.
Emma
We stayed at the lodge and absolutely loved the peaceful setting within stunning grounds. It’s perfectly placed for exploring North Devon’s coastline, which made our trip even better. We made good use of the hot tub, enjoying three evenings despite the jets only working at the front - still, a nice touch! The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and well-equipped, which made everything easy. A few small tweaks suggested to the owners could really elevate the experience, but overall, it was a lovely stay.
Oliver
Great spot, close to everythingand super quiet - we loved staying here!
Emma
We loved how spacious and comfy the place was, perfect for exploring the coast and Exmoor. The pond view and garden really added to the cosy vibe, lovely stay!
Emma
The hotel’s spot-on for location and the food was truly delicious. The lodge needs a bit of TLC though - flooring’s coming loose and wardrobe doors keep falling off. A few bathroom shelves would also make things much easier. Still, we enjoyed our stay!
Emma
We had a lovely stay, really peaceful vibe. Plenty of spots nearby for dog walking, though all a short drive. Not ideal for walking right outside the hotel - the road’s busy and there’s no footpath or verge.
Emma
We recently enjoyed a fantastic week at lodge 10. The sun was shining all day on our deckand the lodge was huge and spotless. En-suites in both rooms were perfect. Staff were lovely and super helpful. We’ll definitely come back!
Emma Carter
We had a fantastic stay! The lodge was spot-on-super comfy and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Perfect for exploring North Devon’s attractions. Definitely recommend it as a cosy base. We’re already planning our return trip. Can’t wait to come back!
Emma
We had a lovely stay at these lodges! The glass doors opening fully made it feel so spaciousand the lakeside setting with mature plants offered a real sense of privacy. The layout was well thought out, with ensuite and connected bathrooms, which was super convenient. The hot tub was a real highlightand the onsite restaurant serving breakfast to dinner was handy. Plus, it’s totally dog-friendly-our three pups loved the enclosed decking and gate for easy access. Definitely planning to return!

Kentisbury Grange is a pretty spot for a chill-out in Devon, but we were a bit let down. Our lodge wasn’t the one we booked; instead, we got a different one. The patio doors were damaged and didn’t close properlyand the overgrown bushes blocked our view of the pond. Seems like because we arrived late, the original guests in our lodge moved elsewhere, which caused the switch. It’s a shame because the place has potential but the mix-up was a bit disappointing. Still, the location is lovely for a quiet getaway.
James
We had such a lovely stay here. The staff were genuinely friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was fantastic, even if a bit pricey. The location is perfect-just a short walk to the beach, but when relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the lake, it feels completely secluded. Truly a special spot!

Beautiful location close to beaches, nice foodand super friendly staff. Would recommend!
Emma

We had a wonderful stay! The lodge was cosy and comfortableand the staff truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The gardens were beautifully maintainedand the birthday meal for our son was exceptional. Big thanks to everyone there - we’d definitely come back again!
