Join one of the scenic coastal footpaths to the pretty village of Sennen, a mile away, and enjoy a traditional bucket and spade day on the gloriously golden sands of Sennen Cove. Porthcurno, with its wonderful beach and famous Minack Theatre perched on the cliff-top, can be reached within 5 miles.

The idyllic harbour town of St Ives, 17 miles away, offers quirky cobbled streets lined with a fantastic selection of boutiques, local shops, and independent cafes and restaurants to enjoy. The iconic Land’s End can be reached within a mile along the coast path.

All your creature comforts are at your fingertips in the light and bright open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner that greets you. Take a seat at the built-in bench to unlace your walking boots before hanging up your outdoor gear on the handy coat hooks above.

Land's End is one of Britain's best loved landmarks with its unique location offering breathtaking scenery and great natural splendour. The site has been developed to offer five family friendly attractions including an exhibition centre currently showing a fantastic Dr Who exhibition - a must for fans of the show. Other attractions include Scull Rock - A 4D film experience and Greeb Farm - A small animal farm which is sure to be a big hit with younger children. Inclusive tickets for all attractions are excellent value with a family of four costing just £25.00
Paradise Park - TR27 4HY
about 14 Miles
Paradise Park first opened its doors in Cornwall in 1973 and has been one of the regions top attractions ever since. What was once just a tropical bird garden is now a refuge for many different species of animal and aims to be educational as well as fun for its visitors. The inhabitants include some typical UK creatures including Otters, and Red Squirrels as well as some more unusual and rare animals including Red Pandas. Younger children will enjoy meeting the friendly animals in the farm area. The site has recently been extended and now also has a fantastic Jungle Barn where kids can let of steam.

A fantastic attraction with something for everyone.  Combining rides, activities and exhibitions it's all here in the one place. Look out for seasonal events too such as the Fire in the Sky event on 27th October 2010 - discount advance tickets are available for most of the events so don't forget to check out their website.  Some of the most popular thrill rides include the first Twisting Droptower in the UK called the Skyraker 001.  The Hornert Rollercoaster is also not to be missed.
The Rock Gardens, Caves and Nursery - TQ5 9HG

The Rock Gardens Caves and Nursery have an amazing setting in the old Palace Quarry. The gardens offer an abundance of trees, plants and floral displays including a very grand 80ft Elm Tree and a stunning Weeping Ash. The site also offers a large carp pond, a breathtaking illuminated cave and a tea room serving tasty local produce.
