About Martins Place

A lovingly finished, stunning property lies on a working farm, in a traditional rural setting yet is situated just 4 miles from the stunning North Cornish Coast. Absolutely perfect spacious home for families to share and enjoy all the county has to offer.

Perfectly located to explore both coastlines from the rugged north shore to the picturesque south with its ancient harbours and coves. Only a few minutes' drive to many fine sandy beaches that adorn the coastline.

Including the ever popular Fistral, Crantock, Holywell Bay and Perranporth with its quaint shops and ice cream parlours. Take time to sample the fine restaurants and traditional inns in the local area, many with stunning views out to sea.

Attractions in the area include the Lappa Valley Steam Railway, Screech Owl Sanctuary, Oasis Fun Pool, Lost Gardens of Heligan, The Eden Project and Cornwall Crealy Adventure Park. Entering the property, you immediately feel at home thanks to the warm and welcoming furnishings and décor of the lounge with Smart TV, ensuring a cosy atmosphere when relaxing on the comfortable sofas.

Doors also lead out to the patio area from this room. The kitchen/dining area has a large dining table, perfect for big dinners with family or friends.

Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. The handy utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer, WC and space for storing bicycles or surfboards.

On the ground floor there is also 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC and 1 double with en-suite shower and WC. Open from end March to end October this is a lovely attraction suited to families with kids of all ages.  You don't need to worry about the weather either as this is an all weather attraction with the addition of soft play areas and a ball pool for the little ones.  Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors.  Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.

The Rock Gardens Caves and Nursery have an amazing setting in the old Palace Quarry. The gardens offer an abundance of trees, plants and floral displays including a very grand 80ft Elm Tree and a stunning Weeping Ash. The site also offers a large carp pond, a breathtaking illuminated cave and a tea room serving tasty local produce.
Paradise Park - TR27 4HY

Paradise Park first opened its doors in Cornwall in 1973 and has been one of the regions top attractions ever since. What was once just a tropical bird garden is now a refuge for many different species of animal and aims to be educational as well as fun for its visitors. The inhabitants include some typical UK creatures including Otters, and Red Squirrels as well as some more unusual and rare animals including Red Pandas. Younger children will enjoy meeting the friendly animals in the farm area. The site has recently been extended and now also has a fantastic Jungle Barn where kids can let of steam.

Look out for seasonal events too such as the Fire in the Sky event on 27th October 2010 - discount advance tickets are available for most of the events so don't forget to check out their website.  Some of the most popular thrill rides include the first Twisting Droptower in the UK called the Skyraker 001.  The Hornert Rollercoaster is also not to be missed.
Tintagel Castle - PL34 0HE

Situated on the stunning Cornish Coast the Castle has a mystical and magical presence and is steeped in historical importance. Indeed the Legend of King Arthur was born right here. This attraction is really unique in that you have the opportunity to gain a rare insight into a working sanctuary.  You can see first hand all of the fantastic work carried out as well as seeing the monkeys themselves.  Other popular areas of this attraction include the Bat Cave and Wildlife Room. the Wildlife Gardens and the kids play area.  There is something for everyone at The Monkey Sanctuary and you can also sponsor and donate if you wish.  The cost to adopt a monkey is from just £2 a month.
Adrenaline Quarry - PL14 5AE
