Meadowsweet Reviews

Oliver
We really enjoyed our stay here. The pool was fantastic and the kids loved it, though the temperature kept changing from cold to hot - hope they sort that out! The games area was a big hitand the views are simply stunning. The cottage could do with some sprucing up, but we hear a refit is planned for winter. Overall, a lovely place!
Luke

We had a great stay! The house was perfect for our group of 8, with plenty of room to relax. The bunk rooms are a bit cosy, but comfy enough for sleeping. The kitchen was surprisingly well-stocked, we even had to rearrange cupboards to fit all our food. The swimming pool and hot tub were fantasticand the sauna was a nice touch. The playroom kept the kids busy during the rainy days. The grounds are stunningand we'd love to come back in the summer!
Alexandra
We loved this place! Quiet spot, perfect for a family get-together. The pool and hot tub were great, especially when the weather wasn't great. The house felt really cosy and spacious, with comfy beds. We'd definitely stay again.
Alex
Even with the terrible weather, we had a lovely time. The pool was a highlightand the place was super comfy with all the essentials. The location's spot on for checking out north Devon - so many things nearby. Our teens loved their surf lesson at Woolacombe beach, definitely a trip to remember!
James
We stayed at this cottage expecting a cosy place for ten, but two bedrooms were tiny-one had no space for clothes at all. Only having one key was a pain, especially with so many of us wanting to come and go at different times. The kids loved the games room, but the outdoor play area was pretty limited. Still, the views were lovely and made up for some of the shortcomings. Overall, not too bad!

We recently stayed as a family of 7 adults and 2 kidsand honestly, it was brilliant! The place was spotless and had all we needed. The gardens looked gorgeousand we loved relaxing by the pool, hot tuband sauna. The kids adored the games roomand Binky the dog was just too adorable! We're already talking about coming back. Thanks for a lovely stay - we had a great time and left feeling very happy!
Sophie
We stayed here with our kidsand while the bunk rooms are tiny and the bunks a bit chunky, the animals and playground were a hit! The games room lacked balls, but overall, it's a great spot to explore North Devon. Nice place!
Emma
We had a lovely stay at Smythen Farm Cottages, especially in January for a 40th birthday celebration with friends, kidsand dogs. The cottages are beautifully situated in such a peaceful spot, with everything we needed for a comfy break. When we hit a small snag with the TV and water, the team sorted it out straight away, which was great. We're already planning to come back!
