Known as the gateway to North Cornwall, Camelford is a delightful community with a regular market and amenities assured. The nearest beach, Trebarwith Strand, is just 4.5 miles away, offering a wide stretch of golden, sandy shores, dog-friendly all year round.

The beach is positioned on the famed South West Coast Path, with a stretch of clifftop scenery offering an easy-to-follow walking route upwards into Devon or down into Cornwall’s depths. Moving inland, away from the coast, visit the marvellous Neolithic settlement sites of Bodmin Moor, hike up Rough Tor (7.5 miles) and enjoy the waterside scenery around Colliford Lake (17 miles).
