Once you’ve wandered the shores of Cornwall, hang up your wetsuits in the greenhouse and head to the snug for some relaxation. Less than a mile walk takes you to the beach of Readymoney Cove, a small shore sheltered from the elements for incredible swimming.

Top up on basic culinary supplies at the Four Turnings Garage, PL23 1JU, which is less than a five minute drive away, or eat out in the town centre, just half a mile away. Quality bakeries, seafood restaurants and gastro pubs are in high supply in the town, as well as quaint coloured houses and a bustling atmosphere.

For a challenging but wonderful walk, follow the South West Coast Path to Par (7 miles), meandering through rugged woodlands, pretty villages and plenty of rest stops for filling up with Cornish delights.

Seahorses Reviews

Tina
We enjoyed our stay and found it was perfect for our two dogs with the wooden floors and enclosed garden. The house was very comfortable with a full range of equipment in the kitchen and plenty of mugs which we often find lacking. An extra bonus was the large off-road parking spots by the house. Yes it is a steep hill to the town centre but we didnâ??t find this a problem at all and only 15 minutes walk.
Hayley
Lovely property everything you need lovely little touches. Extremely clean. Wonderful location . Highly recommended. Samâ??s in Fowey is great place to eat .
Ann
The accommodation was very well located being with a 10 minute walk to the harbour where there was a good choice of restaurants and bars.
Julie
Cottage was great a little walk into Fowey fine on the way down the hill slower on the way up!
Lyn
Lovely property. Top marks to the housekeeper for cleanliness and the thoughtful finishing touches. It was a home from home.
Debra
Lovely property but not really suitable for people that struggle with steps. I booked this property as it has a downstairs bedroom and my husband is disabled. He really struggled with the steps up to the car. Just needs a handrail on lower steps. Otherwise a lovely property with all that you need. Comfy beds, nice and warm, very well equipped.
Vivienne
Fabulous cottage in a great location. Is at the top of a steep hill but handy bus close by. Can't recommend too highly
Sally
Excellent / roomy / relaxing gardens
Anne-Marie
Lovely accommodation with everything needed. Short drive to several beaches, ideal for our dogs.
Corrado
We had a lovely time and particularly enjoyed the view, well kept garden and terrace. The house was spacious, and very comfortable.
Clare

The cottage was excellent. Well decorated and clean. Lots of equipment available, and plenty of storage. Starter packs were very welcome although we did organise a grocery etc. delivery on the day of arrival. The decking area was spacious and well equipped and nice enclosed garden so our little dog could wander in supervised. Location is at top of hill with steep walk to the town, going down great, but with a meal inside you, not so easy on way back. Suggest parking down by ferry end of town if hill will be a problem. All in all an excellent property and a credit to the hosts .
Sue
A lovely spacious house in quiet residential street; meaning a very peaceful night's sleep was had by all, helped by the lovely comfortable beds. The kitchen was equipped with everything we required and, thanks to better weather than expected, we were even able to make use of the lovely, spacious verandah. The property is situated on the outskirts of the town centre, about a five minute walk away, walking downhill; however, be warned, it does take a 'little' longer walking back up and there are some steep climbs. But don't let this out you off, it's well worth it. I would certainly recommend this property.
Guy
Canâ??t fault the accommodation which was perfect for our needs. Major plus points include the off street parking, and bright open plan kitchen, dining & lounge area which has windows on 3 sides, with 2 sets of double doors onto the south facing deck. The walk into town is 10 minutes down a steep hill, so the return is quite a climb and may not suit everyone.
Andrew
Lovely property, well equiped and very comfortable. Off road parking a welcome bonus. A short walk into town, although quite steep on the return but that's not unusual in Fowey. Highly recommended.
Joanne
Very well stocked kitchen, was able to make a roast dinner for the family with amble pots and pans. Lovely living space, very comfortable bedrooms. A really lovely house , we were sad to leave.
Melissa
A wonderful home which is beautifully furnished with high end products/equipment. It is 'home from home' and to have a comfortable bed to sleep in makes a perfect holiday. It was fantastic to have an enclosed garden which really was dog escape proof. This is always a big consideration for us when booking a property and was so reassuring when we arrived to find a worry-free garden. I cannot recommend Seahorses highly enough. The location of Seahorses for walkers and dog walkers is superb with plenty of coastal walks and dog friendly beaches to explore. Restaurants in Fowey are plenty and good quality. The takeaway Fish and Chip shop is highly recommended. Fowey has lovely gift shops, bakeries, the aquarium, coffee shops and clothing shops.
