As the evening sets in, snuggle on the sofa in front of the wood burner for a movie night. Wake refreshed in the beautiful bedrooms, both with exposed beams, and take a morning stroll before enjoying an al fresco breakfast on the patio.

Fire up a BBQ in the evening and enjoy a glass of wine as the kids and pups enjoy running off the last of that sea-air energy in the enclosed lawned garden. There is also a newly fitted wood fired hot tub.

Make the most of the private estate and take a stroll on the grounds to discover panoramic views of South Wales, Lundy and Dartmoor. In Challacombe village (1 mile) you will find a shop/post office and pub, just remember your torch if walking back at night as it gets pretty dark on your return.

Visit the famous sands of Woolacombe, Saunton and Croyde, all within 20 miles, and enjoy family days out at Exmoor Zoo (3 miles) and Watermouth Castle (11 miles). Try outdoor activities such as paddleboarding, coasteering, surfing and kayaking with Active Escape (10.5 miles) or visit the pretty coastal villages of Combe Martin (8 miles), Lynton and Lynmouth (both 11 miles).
