Sunset Bay Appledore Reviews

Emma Carter
We've just stayed at Sunset Bay again and honestly, we love it here. The place is spotless and has everything you'd need - plus some lovely little touches like scones, jam, clotted cream, strawberriesand prosecco, which made it extra special. The owners are really friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for walks straight from the door, exploring the nature reserve and Appledore. The balcony views over the estuary are stunning - definitely a highlight for us. We'll be back for sure!

We had a lovely stay! The home is beautifully put together, with a really thoughtful welcome pack including tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, sweetsand even a bottle of Prosecco. The kitchen had everything we neededand the dog treats were a nice touch. Bedrooms were spacious with plenty of storageand the showers were great. Loved relaxing outside with the cushions and enjoying the stunning views. Perfect location close to Appledore's pubs and cafes.
Michael
Absolutely loved the place! The views over the estuary are stunningand the house itself is beautifully kept. We had a fantastic holiday and will definitely return someday.
Alex
We had a fantastic stay at this place! The home is really lovely and well stocked with everything you need. The hallway and utility area are spacious, perfect after a walk with the dog. The balcony offers a lovely view, which we really enjoyed. The garden is a decent size and enclosed, though the low walls might be a concern if you have a big dog. We didn't use the garden much since we mostly drove to Westward Ho, which was more dog-friendly. All in all, a great experience!
James
The house was fantasticand we felt really lucky to stay there. The hot tub was definitely the highlight! Would absolutely love to come back someday. Great experience overall.
Lizzie
We really enjoyed our stay in Appledore. The house was spotless and the welcome pack was a nice touch. Locations like the beaches and restaurants are very handy and within easy reach. The garden's a bit close to the road, so it can get noisy sometimes, which we didn't expect. The hosts were very helpful whenever we had any issues. Since the place has floorboards all over, bringing some extra rugs is a good idea if you're bringing dogs-ours kept slipping! The sunset from the balcony was stunning. Definitely a lovely holiday spot!
Emma
We just got back from a lovely week at Sunset Bay and honestly, it was great. The place is brand new, super comfyand the views over the water are breathtaking. It's a perfect spot, just a short walk into Appledore, which is really charming. We loved relaxing on the balcony, watching the world go by. The garden downstairs is fully enclosed - brilliant for dogs - and our neighbours were so friendly about our pups saying hello from across the fence. Definitely recommend!
