For coastal days, the characterful harbours of Looe (5 miles), Polperro (5 miles) and Fowey (5 miles) offer beaches, boat trips and places to eat, with shops and everyday amenities to keep your holiday plans easy. Inside, the open-plan living area brings everyone together.

Settle on comfortable sofas in the lounge with a Smart TV for laid-back evenings, gather at the dining table for long, sociable meals, and make the most of the bright kitchen alongside. Four bedrooms offer flexible sleeping: two doubles, including one on the ground floor for those who prefer fewer stairs, and two twin rooms that suit children or friends.

Two shower rooms serve the cottage; one features a refreshing rainfall shower. Thoughtful touches include built-in wardrobes, coat hangers and a dressing table with a mirror.

Outside, a private, fenced garden terrace offers space to dine and play, complete with outdoor heaters and a hot tub for a soothing soak after a day out. Fire up the BBQ and enjoy meals alfresco on the outdoor furniture.

Guests also have access to shared on-site facilities, including the playpark, dog paddock, The Den and a campfire area. Private parking is provided for two cars, and an EV charging point is available on-site.

This attraction is really unique in that you have the opportunity to gain a rare insight into a working sanctuary.  You can see first hand all of the fantastic work carried out as well as seeing the monkeys themselves.  Other popular areas of this attraction include the Bat Cave and Wildlife Room. the Wildlife Gardens and the kids play area.  There is something for everyone at The Monkey Sanctuary and you can also sponsor and donate if you wish.  The cost to adopt a monkey is from just £2 a month.

The Eden Project is a fantastic local attraction in Cornwall which will appeal to families and couples.  From the moment you step through the entrance it's clear that this is no ordinary attraction.  All under one roof you will find a giant rainforest, Horticulture courses, rock climbing, ice skating and an arts cafe.  Not all of these activities are on at one time, they are staggered throughout the year so check out the website to see what's available when you plan to visit.  Autumn at Eden is very popular with events such as daily apple pressing and Time Changing Tales (story telling with an autumn theme).
