Lovely property, added bonus pond and hot tub. You can sit for hours near the pond. The owner was friendly.
We all really enjoyed our holiday the property was perfect fit our needs perfectly especially as we have 2 disabled in our party so we're really happy with the facilities. The location was beautiful and well maintained perfect for a relaxing holiday. The owner was very kind and helpful and explained everything to us when we arrived. Very happy and we hope to be returning there in the future
The property and hosts were a joy. ..the property was so luxurious, the setting was idyllic and felt like a 'home from home', for my Family & I. Eventhough the weather was not the best at times...with the lovely & clean property, especially the hot tub

Beautiful lodge, everything you could wish for, tranquil setting,we thouroughly enjoyed our holiday, spotless lodge and surrounding area,we will definitely be back, our only disappointing fact was on stripping our bed on the handover day, we were shocked and very alarmed to find a huge stain on the mattress, for a place with such high standards I'm sure you will agree this is not acceptable

Had an amazing stay in this Beautiful, well equipped lodge, Everything you needed was to hand. The beds were very comfortable and it was immaculately clean. Owners were lovely people and on hand if you needed them. Beautiful surroundings, total peace and quiet for a very relaxing holiday. Hot tub under the dark skies finished off a perfect stay.
A lovely lodge in beautiful surroundings. The lodge itself was very clean and spacious. The beds were large and comfy, but found the mattresses a bit too soft just personal preference as we're used to a firmer one. The hot tub was a great and we loved sitting there and watching the ducks on the lake. I was surprised there weren't any essentials such as teacoffeemilk provided, but we did appreciate the prosecco and biscuits. Overall we had fantastic stay and I wish we had booked for longer.

What a beautiful property in a fantastic landscape. The property had everything, including a welcome bottle of fizz and shortbread.
A lovely spot and a lodgecottage with up to date comprehensive facilities. The owner was very welcoming and helpful and responded to our request for a fly zapper very quickly. The approach roads are narrow and unmarked and the Sykes joining instructions nowhere near detailed enough. The owner however was able to give us detailed instructions over the phone.
Part of me almost doesnt want to write this review so I can keep this absolutely gem a secret, but that wouldnt be fair. When we arrived, Glen met us at the property to give us a guided tour and to show us how to use the hot tub. She was so friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. The first thing you notice with the property is the size. Its was huge and easily accommodated the 6 of us. It also has 2 double bedrooms which is a rare find! The vaulted ceilings also made it feel more spacious and light. Every room had a tv, fresh bedding and towels and even individual bars of soap which was a lovely touch. There had separate towels for the hot tub and for bathing. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with pretty much every utensil you could need. There was even basic condiments for cooking as well as products for cleaning washing up. The hot tub was very relaxing and got daily use. Theres a privacy screen next to it so youre not overlooked and you can just relax and enjoy the views. So, the views. The location is truly stunning. Set in its own private field, there is plenty of grassy area to enjoy and even 2 lakes which are well stocked with fish, if thats your thing. Theres plenty of wildlife to enjoy, from wild deer to Kingfishers so make sure you take some binoculars. The nearest town was Bampton which had a couple of Spar shops, decent butchers and pharmacy and was only a 5 min drive away. All the locals roads were very quiet, but are well connected if you wanted to travel further afield. Can definitely recommend the Grand Wester Canal for a lovely walk. All in all we had an amazing time and will definitely be back soon.

Beautiful lodge in stunning scenery. Suitable for wheelchair access and very comfortable for all the family! Kitchen is very well equipped and the hot tub is the cherry on top! Will definitely be back and look forward to seeing the wonderful hosts again and exploring more of the local area.
