We had a fantastic time! The cottage was charming with cosy furnishingsand the roll-top bath in the master was such a treat. Loved the Prosecco and coffee pods - a thoughtful touch. It was our first family holiday with my grandsonand honestly, it was just the peaceful, calming place we needed. Lovely stay!

We loved this place! The house is lovely and situated in such a gorgeous area. We had a great time and definitely want to come back. Only downside is it's quite a trek from Yorkshire, about 600 miles!

The guestbook and walking guides were handy for exploring North Devon, which has so much to offer - from Woolacombe's waves to the stunning Valley of Rocks. The hot tub was a real highlight, perfect for unwinding after days out. We also enjoyed some fantastic meals in Ilfracombe. Definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway!

We spent a lovely week at the Azalea with our two kids (10). The area is perfect for walks and exploring different beaches. The hottub was a real treat after busy days. Communication with the owners was straightforward via messenger. Overall, a peaceful and enjoyable stay that we'd definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our time at Azalea Barn. At first, we weren't sure about using the hot tub, but we ended up relaxing in it nearly every evening after long walks. The outdoor seating areas were perfect for having tea or a drinkand I'm sure in summer they'd be even better. The beds were honestly the most comfy we've had outside of luxury hotels or our own bed. We cooked most nightsand the kitchen had everything we needed, plus loads of crockery, so the dishwasher was a real bonus. Definitely recommend!

There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings. Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast". There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga. As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
