With its spacious layout, luxurious touches and beautifully landscaped outdoor areas, Bramble Brook is perfectly placed for those seeking comfort, tranquillity and easy access to Devon’s most scenic countryside. The accommodation centres around a magnificent open plan living space designed for gathering and unwinding.

The lounge area features generous seating arranged around a striking dual aspect wood burner, creating a cosy focal point for evenings together. Large windows fill the room with natural light, flowing seamlessly into the dining area where groups can enjoy relaxed meals and celebrations.

The adjoining kitchen offers a spacious island for informal breakfasts and sociable cooking. After a hearty meal, guests can challenge their companions to a game of table football.

A ground floor shower room and utility area provide added convenience after time spent outdoors. Across the first and second floors, seven beautifully furnished bedrooms offer flexible accommodation for groups of all sizes.

Two rooms feature fixed king size beds, while the remaining bedrooms include zip and link options for twin or king size setups. Two rooms enjoy balcony access, and the top floor suites include comfortable seating areas and sofa beds for additional guests.

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families.  There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings.  Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast".  There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga.  As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
River Dart Country Park - TQ13 7NP

River Dart Country Park has over 90 acres of woods offering stunning scenic walks, beautiful lakes and open parkland. The park also has a good range of facilities for children including Jungle Ropes, Climbing Frames, Cargo Nets and a wooden Pirate Ship. For younger children there is a toddlers Play Area and a small Beach. During high season supervised activities may include the mega Zip Wire, Canoeing and Rock Climbing.

If you are looking for a fun family day out with a difference then a visit to the Hedgehog Hospital is a great choice. While visiting the hospital children can learn about these shy wild animals and the dangers they face in the wild as well as how we can help them. The farm is a halfway house for sick hedgehogs and children can meet some of the animals that are almost ready to go back to the wild. The farm also has a gift shop, a coffee shop and a wildlife garden as well as a pet's area with Rabbits and Guinea Pigs.
