We absolutely loved staying here! The bungalow felt so cosy, like a home away from home, with everything we needed and then some. Gary was super friendly and gave us a great rundown of the place and local spots. The games room and hot tub were definite highlights, plus the towels for the hot tub were a nice touch. We had a really lovely time at Chubby Close. The place is super well equipped, honestly more glasses than we could count! The new white goods made everything easyand the kids loved the games room - they kept going back. Two sets of towels for the hot tub was a nice touch. The location was great, with two pubs nearby - we preferred the King's Armsand the pizza was massive, even our teenage boy struggled to finish it! Coastal walks were lovelyand it's close enough to Bideford's supermarket for supplies. Perfect for relaxing, especially with games and jigsaws to enjoy.

The cottage's spot is fantastic, really peaceful and perfect for a getaway. It's well-equipped, so you don't miss anything during your stay. The village vibe is warm, with friendly folks in the pubs making us feel right at home. We had an absolutely lovely week and would definitely go back!

We stayed at this lovely cottage and felt right at home immediately. The place is super comfyand it's only about a 7-minute walk into the village, which has all the essentials at the post office. The King Arms served up some cracking, no-fuss home cooked meals. We enjoyed trips to Bideford and Barnstaple, both around 30 mins awayand explored Ilfracombe and Port Isaac in about an hour. The cottage's cosy for rainy days too, with plenty of games, a pooland retro electronic games. The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind, sheltered and private. Everything was spotless, we'd happily come back!
