Enjoy it as a base from which to explore the historic city, with its famous cathedral and castle. Browse in the many shops and find an array of eateries when it comes to dining out.

Pack your towels and swimming costumes and venture 9 miles down to Sandy Bay, with its golden beach and clear waters. Keen walkers can also pick up the South West Coast Path here.

Venture 15.5 miles to find yourselves in the fringes of Dartmoor National Park, with its magnificent footpaths and spectacular landscapes. Head about the same distance to discover the natural beauty of the picturesque Blackdown Hills.

Make your way inside the detached country house via a side entrance that opens into a reception hall. From here, climb the stairs or take the stair lift up to the first floor of the property, where your private quarters are located.

Wander along the hall to find yourselves in a cream kitchen that has been fitted out with everything you are likely to need to help you cater for yourselves with ease. Wander into the lounge/diner to sit down to your meals together and relax between your trips out.

Sink back into the plump sofas to chat, read your books or enjoy a glass of wine. Catch up on your current boxset on the Smart TV, with the cosy coal-effect fire glowing in the colder months.

At the end of each lovely day away together in scenic South Devon, make your way through to the sumptuous super-king-size bedroom. This can also be arranged as a twin, if discussed at booking, to ensure you have flexible sleeping arrangements.

Crealy Great Adventure Park - EX5 1DR

This popular adventure park is full of thrills and excitement as well as having loads for younger children to take part in as well. The best theme park rides include the Tidal Wave log flume and Maximus the rollercoaster.  Other fantastic rides include the the New Vortex Watercoaster ride and the Queen Bess pirate ship.  Indoor fun is plentiful too with the Adventure Zone, the Magical Kingdom and Dina's Lost World.
Bicton Park and Gardens - EX9 7BJ

This year round attraction has been described as Devon's most magnificent historic gardens.  Located in the Otter Valley area of East Devon you can enjoy a fun day out in a picturesque setting. Highlights include historic Palm house, containing some of the world’s most endangered species and Bicton Woodland Railway - which takes you on a 25 minute journey through the lovely grounds.  For children there is a miniature village with mini golf, nature trail and indoor play area.

While visiting the hospital children can learn about these shy wild animals and the dangers they face in the wild as well as how we can help them. The farm is a halfway house for sick hedgehogs and children can meet some of the animals that are almost ready to go back to the wild. The farm also has a gift shop, a coffee shop and a wildlife garden as well as a pet's area with Rabbits and Guinea Pigs.
River Dart Country Park - TQ13 7NP

River Dart Country Park has over 90 acres of woods offering stunning scenic walks, beautiful lakes and open parkland. The park also has a good range of facilities for children including Jungle Ropes, Climbing Frames, Cargo Nets and a wooden Pirate Ship. For younger children there is a toddlers Play Area and a small Beach. During high season supervised activities may include the mega Zip Wire, Canoeing and Rock Climbing.
Paignton Zoo - TQ4 7EU

Paignton Zoo is one of the UK's largest zoos and is home to thousands of animals from all over the world. Family favourites include the fun and playful Lemurs of Lemur Wood, and the inquisitive and cheeky Monkeys of Monkey Heights.
