The Jurassic Coast is a great draw here, with pretty Lyme Regis and its famous harbour (10 miles), Seaton (8 miles), charming Charmouth (10 miles) with its striking cliffs and fossicking, plus picture-postcard Beer (13 miles) all worth visiting. You can connect some of these places via the South West Coast Path for example Beer to Seaton is just 1.5 miles.

Inland, the traditional market town of Honiton (5 miles) is known for antiques if you fancy a souvenir. This cleverly converted property is beautifully presented, blending traditional character with modern comfort.

Look forward to a good night’s sleep in the three bedrooms that are all elegant spaces and afford a useful degree of flexibility for different groups. One bedroom is an en-suite super-king-size but can be a twin, there’s another king-size bedroom and one twin with characterful exposed stonework.
