The vibrant town of Bude (3 miles) offers sandy beaches, independent shops and waterside cafés, while the wide, surf-friendly sands of Widemouth Bay (3 miles) are perfect for beach days and coastal strolls.

Keen walkers can join the South West Coast Path nearby, revealing dramatic clifftop scenery and hidden coves, while families and couples alike will enjoy days out to The Milky Way Adventure Park (18 miles) or discovering historic fishing villages such as Tintagel (18 miles). With both North Cornwall and North Devon easily accessible, this is an excellent base for a varied and memorable holiday.

This cottage is a characterful holiday retreat arranged in a reverse-level layout, designed to make the most of its surroundings. Enter via the first-floor balcony into a bright, open-plan living space with exposed beams and a welcoming atmosphere.

The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering, with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, while the dining table comfortably seats six. Relax on the comfortable sofas after a day exploring, enjoying a film on the Smart TV or DVD player.

Stairs lead up to a mezzanine level housing a cosy double bed, while a gated staircase descends to the ground floor. Here you’ll find a peaceful double bedroom overlooking the courtyard, a further small single bedroom, and a modern shower room with a walk-in shower, completing the accommodation.

Outside, guests can enjoy a private balcony with a table and chairs, offering lovely views across the shared pool area – a perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening drink. Beyond the cottage, an excellent range of shared on-site facilities is available throughout the year, including a hot tub, tennis court, games room and children’s play area, with the heated outdoor swimming pool open from Easter through to the end of September.

Situated on the stunning Cornish Coast the Castle has a mystical and magical presence and is steeped in historical importance. Indeed the Legend of King Arthur was born right here. The Castle and grounds also provide a home for many species of wildlife as well as some amazing flora and fauna.
