The living/dining room welcomes you as soon as you enter; it has seating for four, plush sofas, a TV with a DVD player, and a lovely electric fire to light on chilly evenings. Enter the small but well-stocked kitchen, which has everything you need for a self-catered stay.

As the day gives way to night, escape upstairs to two double bedrooms, both serviced by the ground-floor bathroom, with the convenience of underfloor heating. After waking up to a hot cup of coffee, head into Dittisham, where you can find a Post Office, The Anchorstone Cafe, and the Ferry Boat Inn, where you can dine out, before traversing down to Dartmouth Harbour, Dartmouth Museum, and Sugary Cove Beach.

Take the ferry to Kingswear to access additional amenities or continue walking along the coast to reach the National Trust nature reserve of Little Dartmouth and the lovely Blackpool Sands beach. For thrill-seekers in your group, the Woodlands Family Theme Park is close by and suitable for all types of visitors.
