A light-filled dining room with elegant furnishings and an adjoining conservatory with tables and chairs provide plenty of space to linger over delicious meals. The conservatory also offers a tranquil spot to read or catch up, overlooking the garden.

The kitchen has all the necessary equipment to make meal preparation a breeze. A second lounge on the ground floor with a Smart TV offers a perfect retreat for children.

This lounge connects to a cosy ground-floor bunk room. Upstairs, you’ll find five bedrooms with views of the countryside: one en-suite king-size connecting to a bunk bedroom, one double bedroom, one twin room, and another bunk room offer plenty of choice for sleeping arrangements.

A contemporary family bathroom completes the features of this superior property. Outside, enjoy the enclosed garden that wraps around the rear and side of the property.

There is off-road parking for up to eight cars. Families will be thrilled by the activities available to experience in the stunning North Devon Coast National Landscape: walk the South West Coast Path, discover the unique dunes of Braunton Burrows (4.5 miles), and the market town of Barnstable (12 miles) with the Tarka Trail leading into Exmoor National Park’s rugged beauty.

The Milky Way Adventure Park is a fun day out for the whole family and has rides and attractions for all ages. There are four major rides including a thrilling roller coaster and an amazing vertical slide for the older kids and grown ups and six fascinating live shows which will entertain the whole family. During your visit you can enjoy bird of prey experiences, find your way out of the maze and feed and cuddle the baby animals.

As well as gorgeous scenery, picnic areas and plenty of space for children to play the park offers a Play Area, Tea Room serving local produce, a Petting Zoo where little ones will love meeting the affectionate animals and Nature tTails. Exmoor Zoo - EX31 4SG

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families.  There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings.  Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast".  There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga.  As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
