Idle Hour Reviews

Beth
Lovely house and a great location. Very quiet and the hot tub is a great addition. Really enjoyed our trip!
Matthew
Lovely property in a great location for walks to the beach. Hot tub is a massive bonus and always goes down well. Bit of road noise in main bedroom but nothing too much. Would definitely return
Paul
Lovely property, very clean, itâ??s a shame that it is not as close to the beach as we would ideally of liked, but thatâ??s our fault for not reading the description properly.
Jennifer
Beautiful house, clean, modern and fresh. Decorated lovely, and had everything needed in the kitchen and outside clothes line super useful after a dip on the wonderful hot tub. Loved being out on the balcony listening to the sea and seeing the waves from the sofa. We had a lovely stay :)
Angela
Idle Hour is an amazing place to stay, just a 10 minute walk from Westwood Ho! The house is really carefully thought out with everything you need from a holiday rental and more! The beds and sofas are super comfy for relaxing after a day exploring the amazing things North Devon has to offer. The kitchen is well equipped with high spa appliances for cooking up a storm. The garden is secure if you have a fur baby and the hot tub is perfect after a busy day of doing nothing. The property backs on to a main road, so can be a little noisy if the rear windows are open but we left them closed and used the side window and the doors out to the balcony :-). Would definitely stay again
Karen
Fabulous property modern and clean on a lovely small estate. Perfect for three of us and a dog. Hot Tub a great treat.
Yvonne
We were not disappointed with 'Idle Hour' The accommodation was outstanding. The cleanliness was spot on and the hot tub just made it even better. I would consider booking this property in the near future when we return to Devon.
Matthew
Lovely house in a superb location. The house provides all the facilities you could need for a week or 2 stay. The hot tub is an added bonus! As regulars to the area we absolutely will stay again.
Charlene
Overall a great stay we had everything we needed. Really good location for getting out and about in Devon.
Martyn
All very good, nice position and easy to get to all areas of North Devon coast, thoroughly recommend
Richard
The cottage was absolutely perfect! There was a beautiful Christmas tree decorated for us on arrival. The hot tub was spotlessly clean and we used this every day that we were there. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at this property.
Liz
Very clean. Large upstairs living/kitchen area. Bedrooms snug but with excellent showers. Would suggest not great for dog as rear "garden" is fully paved patio. Probably better in summer when pre-bed walk would be in daylight!
Alison
Lovely stay everything you needed would totally recommend
Jacqueline
Cottage clean, spacious and comfortable. Showers in bathrooms large and easy to use. Lovely hot tub in secluded area. All mod cons and a few extras like hand soap and washing up liquid were appreciated. My two girls, the dog and myself fitted nicely although the lack of storage space in the small bedroom was a slight problem. Would stay here again as nicely placed for exploring this part of Devon. Good shops and plenty of places to eat out if you don't want to cook!
Kim
Great property with a good location. The property was well kitted out and the hot tub was a fantastic addition. It has easy access to the beach and if you have a dog you can take your dog on the beach at the back of the property and itâ??s also a short walk into the centre of Westward Ho. We didnâ??t use our car much because everything was in walking distance. I would definitely return to this property.
Lynne

Teresa
Fantastic location and accommodation, a great home from home and the hot tub is so relaxing at the end of a long day.
Mark
We loved it. Great accommodation, comfortable, good quality bed and bed linen. Access to an ev charger a big differentiator for us when choosing a property.
Sean
Lovely home, great location and very clean.
Jane
The cottage is in a great location, really well equipped, we had a lovely holiday.
Jayne
Overall property was lovely, owner was very quick to replace broken internet router on our arrival, very spacious, not very much bedroom storage , would of struggled if we had been a family, otherwise lovely break.
