A truly rural retreat, there are plenty of walks and trails to keep you busy on your break. The beautiful beach at Crackington Haven is just five miles away, with a superb pub overlooking the bay serving delicious food and ales, and there are plenty of other pubs to choose from inland with a locally-acclaimed destination at Wainhouse Corner.
Stroll down the valley for the secluded, stony Millock beach, or jump in the car and head slightly further afield to mythical Tintagel, where you can explore the legends of King Arthur and his castle. The fishing villages of Boscastle, Port Isaac and Rock are within easy reach, and attractions within driving distance include the Eden Project and Crealy Adventure Park.
The striking exposed beams in the lounge immediately give the property a rustic and characterful appearance, with soft furnishings and a grating over the open, stone-surround fire, ideal for keeping the chill off in the winter months when watching a movie. There is also then a second lounge area with a Pool Table and Air Hockey to keep the family entertained, again with sofas and a Smart TV with 1000 arcade games loaded.
You will also find a nostalgic Juke Box with 100 CD recordings for some musical fun. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you could need during your stay, with a large range-style electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, Belfast sink, fridge and microwave.
The utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as a large fridge/freezer. The main dining room has stunning slate flooring and a feature fireplace, with a beautiful table and chairs to seat up to 8 people.
The shower room can also be located on the ground floor, with WC. Upstairs there are four bedrooms, the first of which has a king-size bed and smart tv, an en-suite shower room with WC, and fantastic countryside views.
