Woolacombe and Saunton Sands beaches are both 3-mile glorious stretches of golden sand that welcome four-legged friends throughout the year, with surfing, swimming, stand-up paddleboarding and other water sports facilities, with equipment hire and lessons available to book. Barnstaple with its award-winning local produce Pannier market and facilities is within three miles, whilst the bohemian surf-café culture of Braunton is just 5 miles away.

The Tarka trail is a 32-mile traffic-free cycle trail with a further 180-miles of scenic footpaths and bridleways.
