Water sports enthusiasts can take out a kayak around the stunning coastline. If coasteering is more your style, head 5 miles to Watermouth Bay.

Alternatively, Lynton and Lynmouth, 8 miles away, are must-visit attractions, with a funicular railway connecting the two. Head inside this inviting stone-built property, set over two levels.
