When you’re ready to explore, head into the historic riverside town of Bideford (1.5 miles), home to local shops, independent cafés and the popular Pannier Market. North Devon’s coastline is also within easy reach, offering sandy beaches, dramatic scenery and excellent opportunities for surfing, walking and wildlife spotting, while Exmoor National Park provides miles of walking and cycling routes through open moorland, woodland and picturesque villages.

A well-designed layout offers plenty of space to relax and spend time together, making the lodge particularly comfortable for longer stays, family gatherings and laid-back breaks with loved ones. The spacious lounge features sliding doors opening directly onto the veranda, allowing you to make the most of the woodland surroundings, while the large kitchen/diner provides ample room for shared meals and quality time with loved ones.
