About Pegston Cottage

This beautifully restored former farmhouse is surrounded by peaceful countryside and set just 3.5 miles from the sandy North Cornwall coastline. Sleeping up to ten guests across five bedrooms, it’s the perfect choice for multi-generational families planning days of coastal adventure and rural relaxation.

Beach days are made easy, with Widemouth Bay’s golden shoreline just 3.5 miles away, and the bigger seaside town of Bude only 6 miles away. In Bude, you’ll find a choice of sandy beaches, including Summerleaze Beach and Crooklets Beach, as well as the popular Bude Sea Pool for when you fancy a swim at low tide.

Beyond the beaches, Bude offers a wide range of cafes, pubs and restaurants, as well as shops and traditional seaside attractions. Enjoy long scenic walks along the South West Coast Path (from 3.5 miles), while further afield, popular local destinations include Boscastle and Tintagel (both within 15 miles).

Step into this airy home and quickly notice its spacious rooms, pops of colour, and the natural light that pours through the many windows and glass doors. Unwind in the restful lounge as you sink into the soft seating, flick through the Smart TV and enjoy the verdant views.

On balmy days, open the windows to fill the home with fresh air, while during the chillier months, a wood burner casts a warming glow across the room. An additional snug offers more space for the group to spread out and relax.

Gather in the beautiful kitchen/diner, offering a light-filled room with beautiful views through the picture windows and glass doors. Find everything needed in the kitchen for cooking Cornish feasts, which can be enjoyed either inside or alfresco out on the patio.

Nearby, a handy utility room offers storage space and takes care of holiday laundry. At the end of each day away, take your pick from five charming bedrooms, the first of which is on the ground floor, offering an en-suite shower room and a double zip-and-link bed that can convert to twins on request.
