About The Crows Nest

This detached four-bedroom retreat, with panoramic ocean views, sits directly on the Widemouth Bay coastline in North Cornwall, part of a new development of five homes designed to blend into the surrounding landscape. Ideal for families and groups of friends looking for a surfing holiday, it has the beach right outside and sea views from almost every room.

Widemouth Bay is a long, unspoilt sweep of sandy beach and craggy cliffs known for reliable surf, with lifeguard cover throughout the summer, making it a great spot for beginners and more experienced surfers. The South West Coast Path passes right by the front door, opening miles of dramatic clifftop walking in both directions.

Bude (3.5 miles) offers Summerleaze Beach, with its natural open-air tidal pool, and Crooklets Beach for further surf. Water sports, including coasteering, stand-up paddleboarding, and kayaking, plus bike hire, are all available in the surrounding area.

The top floor is made up of a bright, open-plan living, dining, and kitchen space beneath a curved roof, with sliding doors opening onto a sea-view balcony. Two sofas and two armchairs are arranged around the Smart TV, while a large wooden dining table seats eight beneath feature pendant lighting.

A well-appointed kitchen sits alongside, with a central island and three bar stools – a separate WC is also on this level. On the floor below, two king-size bedrooms sit at the rear of the property, each with doors opening onto the patio.

The master bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in rainfall shower, bath, and WC, while the second has an en-suite shower room with a walk-in rainfall shower and WC. Two further bedrooms occupy the front of the ground floor — the third with zip-and-link 3-foot beds configurable as a double or twin beds, plus an en-suite shower room with a walk-in rainfall shower and WC, and the fourth with a triple bunk bed (double base with a 3-foot single on top) and its own en-suite shower room.
