Newton Abbot sits along the Templer Way, a delightful walking route from the quarries at Haytor, Dartmoor, to the docks at Teignmouth, 6.5 miles away. Keen walkers can enjoy Decoy Country Park, Courtenay Park and Bakers Park within 2 miles, or head further afield to conquer the heather-clad moorland and enchanting valleys of Dartmoor National Park, 15 miles away.
