Enjoy a fabulous holiday at this gorgeous lodge surrounded by trees and overlooking a beautiful pond. Walkers will be able to explore Exmoor National park with their four-legged friends over the magical moors.

Take a day trip to Lynton and Lynmouth (9 miles), where you can visit the Valley of Rocks with views across the Bristol Channel and take the funicular cliff railway between the twin towns. Combe Martin is a pretty seaside town only (5 miles) where you can enjoy taking out kayaks around the stunning coastline or just enjoy having fun in the rockpools.

Other places to visit include Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Watermouth Castle family theme park. Or have a go at coasteering in Watermouth Bay (6 miles).

Step inside this pretty, open-plan holiday lodge from the decking. Its sociable layout is great for when you want to enjoy a movie on the Smart TV while relaxing on the sofas.

You’ll find a lovely designer kitchen to whip up a favourite recipe and enjoy dining in this space. There are two bedrooms: one king-size with an en-suite shower room, and a twin room with a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with a free-standing bath.

Outside is a large decked balcony which has comfortable outdoor seating, a table and chairs to dine alfresco after cooking a meal on the stone-built BBQ, and a luxury hot tub. There is also a bar and restaurant on site.

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families. There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings. Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast". There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga. As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.

Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park - EX34 0NG

Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park is a big hit with families and has a wonderful setting within 26 acres of Sub Tropical grounds. During a stroll around the site you will encounter so of the worlds most endangered animals and also take a peek back to prehistoric times when Dinosaurs roamed the earth. The park is home to the worlds only full size animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex as well as Lions, Wolves, Sea Lions, Meerkats and many other species, Top attractions include the amazing Sea Lion Shows, Falconry Display and Sea Lion Swims.
