We had such a lovely stay! The cottage was perfect, full of charm and character, exactly what we needed for a peaceful getaway. The surrounding nature and rolling hills were breathtakingand we really appreciated the quiet atmosphere. The road up to the cottage was a bit intimidating at first, but it turned out to be quite an adventure. In a week, we didn't see a single car coming the other way, which just added to the sense of seclusion. Truly a beautiful place!

We really enjoyed our stay exploring North Devon from this comfy base. The swimming pool, games roomand dog-friendly walks were fantastic perks! The only downfalls were some issues with the water supply and Wi-Fi, which was a bit frustrating. Driving up the hilltop access needed a confident driver, especially since the main website didn't warn us about the steep, single-track road and the drop into the valley. It was a bit of a shock in the dark. Overall, a lovely spot that could've been perfect with a little more info. We'd definitely go back!
