The property sits just 4 miles from South Molton, enjoying a rural position and uninterrupted peace and quiet, yet with amenities close at hand.

This popular market town offers plenty of independent cafes, pubs and shops to browse. Barnstaple is a little further away (15 miles), set on the edge of the scenic River Taw.

From here, discover some of the fabulous beaches North Devon is known for, including the surfer’s paradise of Saunton Sands (24 miles) and Woolacombe (25.5 miles). Day trips to coastal villages such as Lynmouth (22 miles) and Lynton (23 miles) are a must, with the opportunity to ride the twin villages’ beloved funicular cliff railway.

Traditionally styled with original beams, exposed brick walls and winding cottage stairs, this charming holiday home offers a step back in time. Take the external steps up to the first floor and make your way inside.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner create a warm, welcoming atmosphere on arrival. Feed hungry holidaymakers from the well-equipped, spacious kitchen before settling in for an evening of entertainment in the lounge.

Here, sofas are positioned opposite a Smart TV and a wood burner, setting the scene for cosy nights in. The first of three bedrooms is located downstairs: a lovely king-size with its own en-suite bathroom immediately next door.

From this floor, take two flights of stairs up to the second floor to find the remaining bedrooms. The first is a twin room with with versatile zip-and-link beds, while the final room is a bunk bedroom – perfect for younger guests.

North Devon Farm Park is a haven for wildlife and has a fantastic location making it the perfect place for a day out during the summertime. As well as gorgeous scenery, picnic areas and plenty of space for children to play the park offers a Play Area, Tea Room serving local produce, a Petting Zoo where little ones will love meeting the affectionate animals and Nature tTails. There is also a Play Area.

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families.  There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings.  Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast".  There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga.  As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park - EX34 0NG

Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park  is a big hit with families and has a wonderful setting within 26 acres of Sub Tropical grounds. During a stroll around the site you will encounter so of the worlds most endangered animals and also take a peek back to prehistoric times when Dinosaurs roamed the earth. The park is home to the worlds only full size animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex as well as Lions, Wolves, Sea Lions, Meerkats and many other species, Top attractions include the amazing Sea Lion Shows, Falconry Display and Sea Lion Swims.
The Donkey Sanctuary - EX10 0NU

The Donkey Sanctuary is a working refuge for rescued Donkeys but is also a popular place for a day trip in South Devon. The site will appeal to animal lovers of all ages and gives visitors the chance to meet some of the friendly animals and also learn about the work done at the sanctuary. Visitors will also have the opportunity to adopt a Donkey.
