Widemouth Bay stretches out as a long, unspoilt sweep of sandy beach and craggy cliffs — a popular spot for surfing and water sports, with lifeguard cover throughout the summer season and conditions that suit beginners and more experienced surfers alike. The South West Coast Path runs past the front door, opening miles of clifftop walking in both directions, with views over rugged rocks and crashing waves.

Bude (3.5 miles) is a good base for activities including coasteering, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and bike hire. The split-level layout is arranged over two floors, with several steps down between the bedroom levels.

The upper floor features a large, light-filled open-plan living space with a Smart TV, two sofas, two armchairs, and a dining area with bench seating. Doors open from here onto a broad balcony with sea views.

The kitchen sits alongside, with a breakfast bar and three stools — a spot for cooking while looking out to sea. A WC is also on this level, along with a utility room.

On the ground floor, a games room doubles as a cinema room, furnished with a sofa, air hockey table, pool table, and bar, with doors leading out to the courtyard and hot tub. The master bedroom on the lower-ground floor has a king-size bed and sea views, with a sliding door to the courtyard.

Its en-suite bathroom has a bath, separate walk-in rainfall shower, and WC. A second king-size bedroom, also on the lower-ground floor, has sea views and another sliding door to the courtyard, with an en-suite shower room featuring a walk-in rainfall shower and WC.
