The family bathroom is also on the ground floor, and up the open wooden staircase to the first floor is where you will find the two individual, well-furnished comfortable bedrooms. Outside the cottage is a delightful private courtyard where you can sit in peace with a drink or two and reflect on the day.
With its maze of quaint narrow streets full of old fishermen's cottages, Appledore has something for everybody, with a great range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Less than a minute from the cottage and you are right on the beach and next to an excellent children's playground, making it the perfect place for the family to spend the day.
This cottage is such an ideal peaceful base to explore North Devon’s surf beaches and ancient market towns, and is the perfect spot for a well-earned break at any time of year.
