This beautiful converted barn built in 1830 with far-reaching countryside views, situated in the heart of the Exmoor National Park, is ideal for families and friends seeking a restful rural retreat with easy access to local amenities and attractions. The local pub at Challacombe is well worth a visit, but be sure to book ahead to eat.
There are plenty of sandy beaches for buckets and spades or water sports at Woolacombe and Saunton, or explore the hidden coves at Lee Bay and Woody Bay, all within 20 miles. Must-visit experiences suitable for all ages include Exmoor Zoo and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, within 10 miles, and, further afield, the magnificent Watermouth Castle, less than 20 miles away.
Alternatively, head to the pretty sister towns of Lynton and Lynmouth, only 12 miles away, which are often referred to as Little Switzerland with their famous cliff railway. This attractive property, set over two floors, has a welcoming and spacious feel with contemporary furnishings and styling for a memorable stay.
There are two bedrooms and both bathrooms on the ground floor, adding flexibility to your sleeping arrangements. Enter into the downstairs hallway and immediately on your left is a chic wet room with a shower and WC.
