This splendid shepherd’s hut, situated on the edge of a working farm and surrounded by breathtaking views, is ideal for couples or solo travellers seeking a tranquil base from which to explore North Devon. The hut is one of two properties on site, which is perfectly placed near the market town of Bideford, 2.5 miles away, and Westward Ho!
Beach, 6 miles away. Bideford is home to the Tarka Trail, a traffic-free route that is perfect for walkers and cyclists.
Spend a day exploring the pretty village of Instow, with its picturesque quay, dog-friendly beach and scenic estuary walks. Beach lovers should head to Croyde and Woolacombe to enjoy miles of sandy beaches, ideal for picnics, walks and water sports; both are within 25 miles.
Alternatively, spend a day discovering Tapley Park or RHS Garden Rosemoor, less than 10 miles away. There are three steps leading up to the front doors of this delightful property.
Once inside, you will find a bright interior with decor and furnishings that reflect the natural surroundings. This is a great year-round option, as there is underfloor heating and the opportunity, in cooler weather, to pop a log in the wood burner for a cosy ambience.
