Set in a National Landscape and close to the sand dunes at Braunton Burrows, keen walkers and nature enthusiasts are spoiled with surrounding scenery and meandering trails. Whilst here, make sure to try your hand at surfing – learn more in the nearby Museum of British Surfing.

Arrive at this extraordinary home and you can immediately see the quality and luxury that awaits you. The large entrance hall has mirrors and planting, and features a spiral staircase at one end and a utility room and four of the seven bedrooms at the other end.

There’s an en-suite king-size with a freestanding slipper bath and a separate shower, and three en-suite doubles. Your attention will be focused on the large lounge/kitchen/diner, which is superbly presented with a media wall along with underfloor heating.

The floor-to-ceiling picture windows allow natural light to flood in, providing fabulous views across open lawn and countryside to the sea beyond. The dining area has a large table and ample seating for everyone, and the lounge offers sumptuous sofas to relax into.

The kitchen area is chef-ready and has everything you could possibly need to cater for your stay. Heading upstairs, there’s much more to see, including playroom with a Smart TV, a Nintendo Wii and a PlayStation (plus games, toys and books).

North Devon Farm Park - EX32 7ET

North Devon Farm Park is a haven for wildlife and has a fantastic location making it the perfect place for a day out during the summertime. As well as gorgeous scenery, picnic areas and plenty of space for children to play the park offers a Play Area, Tea Room serving local produce, a Petting Zoo where little ones will love meeting the affectionate animals and Nature tTails. There is also a Play Area.
Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park - EX34 0NG

Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park  is a big hit with families and has a wonderful setting within 26 acres of Sub Tropical grounds. During a stroll around the site you will encounter so of the worlds most endangered animals and also take a peek back to prehistoric times when Dinosaurs roamed the earth. The park is home to the worlds only full size animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex as well as Lions, Wolves, Sea Lions, Meerkats and many other species, Top attractions include the amazing Sea Lion Shows, Falconry Display and Sea Lion Swims.
Exmoor Zoo - EX31 4SG

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families.  There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings.  Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast".  There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga.  As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
