A very cosy, exceptionally well equipped (even had a sparkling wine bottle bung) and comfortable home with a proper, fully enclosed garden that our dogs could be absolutely safe in. Hot tub was wonderful after a day out walking and we enjoyed hearing the donkey's next door at feeding time. Good amenities in the quiet village. A thorough household information folder and direct contact with owner made us feel welcome.

We had an amazing stay at this beautifully renovated barn. It was very homely and the owners left some lovely items for us, including Prosecco, beers, fresh cream cakes, milk, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and fresh flowers. The hot tub was very relaxing with great views. We all loved staying here and would thoroughly recommend it!

A beautifully renovated property. Lovely enclosed back garden and comfortable front veranda with hot tub and sun beds. Facilities are very good and very friendly welcome. Nicely placed for Devon and Cornwall exploring, especially the coast. Quiet location in the countryside, but easy access too and great outlooks. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely a property we would return to.

This is a wonderful holiday home, beautifully presented and very comfortable, everything that you will need for your holiday is provided including a very generous Welcome Pack. Super dog friendly garden and a real sun trap, lovely local village a short walk away and easy access to the coast. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend.

What a fantastic space and design! Very clearly the owners have tried to think of everything including a fantastic cream sponge and massive dog box on arrival. My first thought was 'can I buy it? Its perfect! We had 3 couples and a dog each couple with medical needs and yet loads of space and privacy when needed, and areas to come together too. I cant and wont fault it and highly recommend it

Had the most wonderful stay with our two doggies, the barn was in the perfect location for the best walks along cliffs or on the beach. I can honestly say I have never stayed ,and I have stayed in many accommodations that are so clean and well thought out. I met Helen the owner and she was so nice and helpful a real breath of fresh air, nice to know the history of the barn. The area is fantastic a must is Hartland Quary the walk along the cliffs was breathtaking must keep doggies on lead mind very steep, also went to clovelly great little village with lots of see and there pottery and soaps are a must. We had a lovely meal at the Hart Inn in Hartland after a lovely walk round Bradshaw woods. Do not miss out on one of the best places you will ever stay in everything is thought of within the accommodation and that is a rare find, smart tv was good and in every room . Thank you Helen will return again soon. And the doggies thank you for there lovely treats.

An absolutely charming property! We had the best five days here. Helen and Steve have thought of everything that you could possibly need for a luxury stay. The newly converted cow barn is absolutely pristine. We chose it because we have two large greyhounds and the fact that the garden was so secure was a huge attraction for us. They also appreciated the underfloor heating! The hot tub was another attraction and it did not disappoint. It was immaculately clean and changed between every booking. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

The property can only be described as 5 star accommodation. The owners, Steve & Helen, have thought of absolutely everything with regard to furnishings & fittings. Everything is first class. The welcome pack which included a large basket of logs, wine, fruit, cake, fudge, cookies, milk, bottles of beer, cordial & flowers was a most welcome surprise. The barn was a most relaxing & cosy environment with the added bonus of a hot tub. Although the weather was very seasonal, stormy at times, it was nice to be cosy & warm in their lovely barn. We dined in the village on three occasions and, in our opinion, the Anchor Inn was our favourite with regard to food & a friendly welcome. A visit to Hartland Quay is worth a visit for the outstanding rock formations and a walk along the coastal path. Good choice of food available in the Wreckers Bar at the hotel there with free parking. All in all, our 7 night stay at the barn exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate to return in the future.

We would recommend Woodside without reservation. It is a beautiful home set in great location for local walks or drives out to explore further afield. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and like a â??home from homeâ?? including for your family dogs. The hot tub was extremely well maintained and chemicals checked throughout the stay. Helen was available when needed and nothing was too much trouble. We loved our holiday here and tried to book for the same time next year but Woodside has understandably been snapped up! if you are thinking of booking- do! You wonâ??t be disappointed. Thank you for a wonderful stay- we will be back!

On arrival, it was welcoming to see the Xmas decorations. Our welcome pack was excellent, and our dog had her own pack. This is a highly comfortable place to stay, equipped to high standards and not to cost. The owners were really helpful and available at all times.

Fantastic holiday home, one of, if not the best place weâ??ve stayed at so far. The barn has everything you could hope for, including a lovey fully enclosed garden for the dog. The village is a 10 min walk away down quiet country lanes, 3 pubs (we ate twice in the Hart Inn- tasty food both times) , 2 shops, a fantastic coffee shop (lovely cakes!) and a fish and chip shop caters for most needs. The coast is an hours walk away, with breathtaking views. Weâ??ll definitely be back !

The accommodation was absolutely 5* in every way. A wonderful place to rest and relax or work with excellent WiFi. The owner, have thought of every last detail to ensure the comfort of their guests. From fresh milk in the fridge, to sumptuous gowns for the few steps out to the hot-tub which overlooks rolling countryside. The garden was also perfect for our 2 dogs being completely secure with grass and several patio areas. If you want to head out and about there is much to do and local sights to see. We could not recommend this accommodation more and will be booking again.

What a fantastic property, clean and comfortable, everything you could possibly need and more. Lots of thoughtful touches and a generous welcome pack, even treats and toys for the dogs. The garden is private and totally secure which is another bonus if holidaying with dogs. The owners were more than helpful, on hand if needed but respecting our privacy. The village has some nice pubs a tearoom and shops all in easy walking distance and plenty of places of interest and clean sandy beaches just a shirt drive away. Would definitely recommend this lovely holiday home. It's five stars plus from me

We booked Woodside Barn to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary with family plus dog and had a wonderful week. The barn was spotless, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Can't think of a single item that was missing.It really is just like the photos. lots of lovely toiletries in the bathrooms and big fluffy towels and robes, just like a 5 star hotel! Really can't recommend this property enough as so much care and thought has clearly gone into it. Thankyou Helen and Steve for the lovely card, flowers and treats you left for us all including the dog, You made us feel very welcome and we hope to return.
