The cottage had a strong dog smell when we arrived, which was a bit off-putting. Aside from that, everything was pretty good-nice facilities and a fantastic location for exploring without long drives. It's really peacefuland there's plenty to do nearby!

We had a lovely stay at this cottage! The kitchen was really well stocked, making cooking easyand the outdoor gas BBQ was perfect for warm evenings. The hot tub was such a treat after days exploring-absolutely loved the stunning views from the property. It's tucked away in a peaceful spot, yet close enough to West Bay, Lyme Regisand other beautiful places like Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. The Symondsbury Estate itself is gorgeous, with a lovely café and shops just a short walk. The Ilchester Arms nearby served fantastic food and was very dog friendly. We'll definitely be coming back!

Honestly, arriving at the cottage was a real treat! The place is stunning - the garden, the peaceful settingand even a pet sheep, which the kids adored. It's super clean with nice towels, robesand comfy bedding. We were two families with little ones aged 4 to 7and the layout worked perfectly for us. The kids loved the big, private gardenand the bathrooms and bedrooms were well split. We'd definitely come back!
